Thang Dinh, a mechanical engineer in the field of HVAC and energy conservation by trade. At heart, Thang is a true piano lover of great talent. Thang began learning the piano at age 11. In 1989, he won first prize in Division A, Florida West Coast Chopin Piano Competition in Sarasota, Florida. In 2006, he was a gold medalist in the Chopin Competition for Adult Amateur Pianists in Houston, Texas. In 2009, he was a semifinalist in the first Chopin International Piano Competition for Amateurs in Warsaw, Poland. Thang continues to travel and compete in national and international piano competitions quite simply for the pure joy of playing the piano.
We count ourselves quite fortunate to have become friends with Thang, and always enjoy his visits to Forte' Piano Gallery to play, as Thang says, "The Piano Buffet".
